What is patisserie?

Pâtisserie is a French term used to refer to pastries and sweets. For example, cakes and tarts are pâtisserie. A pastry chef is called a pâtissier, and in France and Belgium, a pâtisserie is a bakery specialising in pastries. In other areas of the world, “a patisserie” is simply a bakery or pastry shop.

You’ll receive the highly-regarded City & Guilds Diploma in Patisserie.

Are there any enrolment requirements?

In order to apply for the patisserie diploma you’ll need to have completed the City & Guilds Diploma in Culinary Arts.
